BACKYARD TENNIS COURTS NASHVILLE TN:
PRIVATE COURT CONSTRUCTION

A Court of Your Own,
Steps From the Pool

Backyard Resort Pools builds private tennis courts on residential properties across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. I am Ernie Nagy, the Pool Kahuna, and this is the feature that turns a backyard into an estate, played on far more than it is looked at.

The Base Decides Whether the Court Lasts

Middle Tennessee clay swells and shrinks with the seasons, and a court built on a shortcut base cracks and heaves within a few winters. We start with proper grading and drainage, then a post-tension concrete or asphalt pad engineered for our soil, because everything applied on top of that base only lasts as long as the base does.

From there we surface in acrylic coatings with color-coded lines to any regulation or modified footprint your lot allows, add fencing, and wire in LED court lighting where a client wants to play past dark. It sits beside the pool as its own resort amenity, not a converted stretch of driveway.

An Estate That Plays as Good as It Looks

The pool is for cooling off between sets. The court is where the actual competition happens, and it deserves a surface that holds up to it.

Courts are engineered and built as their own project, sited alongside a pool or a full backyard resort build.
